Acceptable Use Policy

1.Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses the Cheaper Gen. API, Studio and website, and to the inputs you submit and the outputs you generate, publish or distribute. It forms part of our Terms of Service. If you build a product on the Service, you are responsible for making sure your own users comply with it too.

2.Prohibited content

You may not use the Service to create, upload or distribute content that:

• Sexualizes minors in any way, including fictional, drawn or AI-generated depictions. We have zero tolerance: we terminate accounts and report such content to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
• Depicts real people in sexual or intimate content without their consent, including "nudified" or synthetic intimate imagery.
• Impersonates or deceptively depicts real people — for example deepfakes intended to mislead, defraud, defame or harass.
• Harasses, threatens, bullies or incites violence against individuals or groups.
• Promotes hate based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation or national origin.
• Supports terrorism or violent extremism, or depicts graphic real-world violence to glorify or incite it.
• Encourages self-harm, suicide or eating disorders.
• Infringes intellectual property or other rights, such as copyrighted characters or trademarks you are not authorized to use.
• Is designed to deceive — fake news footage, fabricated evidence, election disinformation, or scams and fraudulent advertising.
• Violates privacy, for example by revealing personal information or generating images of private individuals without consent.
• Is otherwise illegal where you or your audience are located.

3.Real people and likenesses

• Only upload images, video or audio of a real person if you have their permission, or another clear legal right to use it.
• Do not use the Service to make a real person appear to say or do something they did not, in a way that could mislead viewers.
• Satire and commentary involving public figures must be clearly identifiable as such and must not be sexual or deceptive.

4.Disclosing AI-generated content

Follow the laws and platform rules that apply where you publish, including requirements to label synthetic or AI-generated media. Do not remove, obscure or alter watermarks, provenance metadata (such as C2PA) or other disclosures that a model adds to outputs.

5.Misuse of the Service

You may not:

• Share, sell or publish API keys, or resell raw access to the API, without a written agreement with us.
• Circumvent rate limits, concurrency limits, billing, content filters or other safeguards — for example by creating multiple accounts.
• Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service without our written permission. Report security issues to support@cheapergen.com.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its providers or other users, or send malware or malicious payloads (including through webhook URLs).
• Attempt to extract model weights or reverse engineer the models or the Service.
• Use outputs to develop competing models where the model's developer prohibits it.
• Use the Service for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people without appropriate human review.

6.Model developer policies

Each model is also subject to the usage policy of the company that developed it. Where a developer's policy is stricter than this AUP, the stricter rule applies to that model. Requests that a model's own safety systems refuse will fail; failed requests are not charged.

7.Enforcement

We use automated systems and, where necessary, human review to detect violations. Depending on severity, we may block requests, remove content, rate-limit, suspend or terminate accounts without refund of credits, and report activity to law enforcement or affected parties. Where appropriate and lawful, we will tell you what happened and give you a chance to respond.

We may update this AUP as laws, models and risks change. The current version is always on this page.

8.Reporting abuse

If you see content made with the Service that violates this policy, or believe your rights have been infringed, email support@cheapergen.com with "Abuse report" in the subject, the generation ID or URL if you have it, and a description. [Designated copyright (DMCA) agent details — to be added.]
