Billing
How billing works
Simple prepaid credits in US dollars. The full details — holds, refunds, auto top-up and the ledger — are in the billing docs.
Prepaid credits
Add any amount from $5 with a card. Your balance works across every model, in the API and the Studio. No subscription, no seats.
Per second, per image
Video is billed per second of output at the chosen resolution, images per image at the chosen size. Nothing else — no platform fees.
Hold, then settle
When you submit, the quoted price is held from your balance. On success it becomes the final charge; the exact cost is on every generation.
Failed = refunded
If a generation fails, or you cancel it while it is still queued, the full hold is returned to your balance automatically.
Auto top-up
Set a threshold and an amount. When your balance drops below it we charge your saved card, so production jobs never stall.
Enterprise volume pricing
Committed volume unlocks rates below the public price list, invoicing and purchase orders, plus dedicated capacity and an SLA.

Video is billed per second of generated output at the resolution you choose — a 10-second clip costs twice a 5-second clip. Seedance models are metered in video tokens exactly like the official API (output seconds × width × height × 24 fps ÷ 1024); the tables show the equivalent price per second at 16:9. Generated audio is included at no extra cost.
Images are billed per generated image at the selected size. Requesting four images costs four times the per-image price. Image edits cost the same as new images.
No. The price of a request is held when you submit it and refunded in full, automatically, if the generation fails or you cancel it before it starts. You only pay for successful outputs.
No. Cheaper Gen. is prepaid and pay-as-you-go: add credits with a card, spend them on any model, and turn on auto top-up if you don't want jobs to stop when your balance runs low. There are no seats, plans or monthly fees.
Two ways. Direct partnerships with the official model labs give us their lowest channel pricing, and for some models our own inference serving — GPU scheduling, warm pools and per-model tuning — lowers the cost further. We pass most of that saving on. Every price on this page is shown next to the developer's official list price so you can check the math.
Yes. The Studio shows the exact cost on the Generate button, and the API has a free quote endpoint (POST /v1/quote/{endpoint}) that returns the price, the official list price and your discount for any input. Every generation also reports its cost in the response.
Yes. The API, the Playground on each model page and the Studio all use the same per-second and per-image prices listed here.
Credits are prepaid and, except where required by law, non-refundable — see the Terms of Service. Failed and canceled generations are always refunded to your balance automatically.
