How Kling 3.0 billing works

- Unit. Per second of video, for any length in 3–15 s. Native audio is billed at a higher per-second rate; turn it off for silent clips.
- Audio. Optional, billed at a higher rate.
- Official reference. Kling developer API list price, kling.ai/dev/pricing (1 unit = $0.14: $0.084 / s at 720p, $0.112 / s at 1080p; with native audio $0.126 / $0.168; 4K $0.42), verified October 16, 2026.
- Hold, then settle. The quoted price is held from your prepaid balance when you submit and becomes the final charge on success. The exact cost is returned with every generation.
- Failed = free. Failed generations, and jobs you cancel while queued, are refunded in full automatically.
- Price before you run.
