The biggest lever. A 5-second clip costs 2.0× as much at 1080p as at 720p.

Audio

Takes you keep

Every successful clip is billed, including takes you discard. Keeping one in three makes each kept 5-second 720p clip cost $0.43 instead of $0.15. Failed generations are refunded.

Cost control

Keep LTX-2.5 spend predictable

  • Price it first. POST /v1/quote/lightricks/ltx-2.5/text-to-video returns the exact price of any request, free.
  • Cap a request. Send max_cost_usd and a request priced above it is refused without charge.
  • Prepaid only. You can't spend more than your balance; auto top-up is optional and you set its amount.
  • Failed = free. Failed generations, and jobs you cancel while queued, are refunded in full.
  • Every charge itemized. Each generation returns its exact cost, and the dashboard lists every charge.

LTX-2.5 API cost questions

A 5-second 720p clip costs $0.15 (official $0.45). Prices run from $0.0285 to $0.057 per second of video depending on resolution, with no subscription needed and no minimum spend.

It depends only on usage. 100 × 5 s clips a month cost $14.25; 1,000 × 5 s clips a month cost $142.50; 10,000 × 5 s clips a month cost $1,425 (at 720p). At the middle volume that is $3,690 a year less than at the official price.

$1.71 at 720p, $3.42 at 1080p. One request makes up to 8 seconds, so a minute takes several clips.

Resolution, clip length, audio and task. The quote endpoint (POST /v1/quote/{endpoint}) prices any request for free before you run it. Rates by resolution: price per second.

You pay for every successful generation, including takes you decide not to use. Failed generations, and jobs you cancel while they are queued, are refunded in full automatically. To spend less per try, see Cheapest LTX-2.5.

Yes. Credits are prepaid, so you can't spend more than your balance. Pass max_cost_usd with a request and it is refused, without charge, if its price would be higher. Auto top-up is optional.
