  • The price before you run. The exact cost is on the Generate button in the Studio, and the API's free quote endpoint returns it for any request.
  • Failed = free. A failed generation, or a job you cancel before it starts, is refunded in full automatically.
  • Same price everywhere. The Studio (no code), the API and MCP cost the same; audio and resolution are the only things that change the per-second rate.
  • Below the official price. Up to 27% less, for the same official model.

Vidu Q4 is billed per second of generated video: $0.0331/s at 540p up to $0.2867/s at 4K. A 5-second video costs $0.17 at 540p, $0.35 at 720p, $0.45 at 1080p, $0.70 at 2K and $1.44 at 4K. That's up to 27% below Shengshu's official price.

$0.53 at 540p and $4.59 at 4K. Any length in 3–16 s is priced by the second, so a clip twice as long costs twice as much.
